Happies and Crappies

so last night i had a fabulous evening
with one ms. erica johanson
(aka baby bird, the 8-year-old boy, or my big sister)
we went to see INXS at radio city
the infamous $4 tickets
they were really great
despite the fact they didn't play "disappear"
and erica hit the nail on the head when she said
"the lead singer is HOT"
so true
and it appears that erica will be joining
BK and I for they might be giants at the TLA next friday
woo hoo!
i love summer concert season!!!!

before we went to the show
we went up to lincoln center
to gaze upon david blaine in his giant bubble
i am so amused by this
it's just so silly
but you know i'm going to watch him
when he tries to hold his breath on monday

and here's the crappy
this morning as i was watching "felicity"
i go to start making french toast
(which i had been looking forward to all week)
and i hear "squeak squeak"
i look on the floor
and there is a wee little mouse stuck on a glue trap
it's body ripped in half because it kept trying to pull itself off
it was dreadful
luckily i was able to find someone to get rid of it
why do these things always happen on the weekends??
i am going to buy some peppermint oil
because the powdered bobcat urine sure didn't work
next stop, CAT!!!
