as a hall director
i've seen my fair number of robberies
lots of times these happen because the residents left their doors unlocked
and yes, while we like to stress that residence halls are generally safe communities
YOU SHOULDN'T LEAVE YOUR DOOR UNLOCKED
you make like the people who live on your floor
but what about the shady friend who comes to sleep on their floor?
so anyone
i'm sitting here killing time before a 1:1
and i am watching my new favorite program
world, i would like to introduce you to
It Takes a Thieftwo former burglars show you how to keep
your home safe from masked men
you get to see homes being broken into
and then they give the families a brand new security system
(yes, the families agree to this--they aren't home during the break in
but they watch the whole thing on videotape
and damn, it's rough
toy chests destroyed, antique rugs stolen, the whole 9 yards)
so if you are the TV watching type
consider this my official thumbs up
saw john mayer last night
he rocked, his drunk fans sucked
best part was one the super drunk guy tried to start a fight
but got thrown out by security
of course, he did this during the encore
when alicia keys sang gravity
and proving that new york city is the world's smallest town
i ran into heather horowitz in the LIRR waiting area
i also got a fairly delightful (free!) haircut at bumble and bumble
of course, this new cut does put the gray hairs in the spotlight
so i may have a date with the box of hair dye soon
but not this weekend
as i will be making my way to newark delaware
and solving crimes and spending quality time
with the matthews and the musars
i will be introducing flanders to the group
thus concludes a long entry...
