Fiscally Responsible
i moved to new york
and set a goal to get my finances in shape
yes, there are student loans in my long-term future
but let's talk credit cards
thanks to my new friend scott at citibank
i have a 1.9% apr for 24 months
and according to my calculations
i will be out of the hole by july 2007
(just when i'm planning on moving again
and will need to rack up ridiculous moving charges)
i finally feel like i'm making a marked dent in my debt
and the idea of being out of it is actually a reality
lord, i wish i had something cool to show for it
but alas, i lived on credit cards during grad school
(and lest we not forget, the extreme generosity of BK
which extends today whenever we go out to eat)
so apparently i have made it through
NYC BLIZZARD 2006 (dum, dum, DUM!)
and i must say, it sure doesn't seem like
2 feet of snow has fallen
i think it's because i don't have a car to dig out
(the one time i don't mind being carless)
i think i'll probably realize it when i walk from the subway station tomorrow morning
and now, i am going to bed
BUT WAIT!
check out my supercool links to the side
blogs of fun people
and of note is the always amazing maureen
IRON MO!
once again training for ANOTHER ironman
to raise money for the leukemia and lymphoma
if you have a lil pocket money gathering dust
why don't you go visit her site
and then click that lovely "DONATE" button?
here, now you don't even have to click the side link
IRON MO ROCKS!

You're moving again!? Back to the West Coast maybe? Anywhoo, you have been updating a lot lately, it's nice. Oh and if you donate to my Relay fund, I'll donate to your Habitat fund. Deal?
